www.monsterkit.com: Where did the idea for the Monster Kit come from?

It is a result of a need that my daughter needed to have met. So, being creative I thought of some ideas on how to meet that need. Many call it “necessity is the mother of invention.”

My daughter had concerns about monsters in her closet and under her bed so I came up with the idea for her to wear a Monster Hat (hot pink baseball hat) to bed to protect her from them. But before she hopped into bed we would use Magic Monster Spray (an empty squirt bottle) and spray her room (under her bed, in her closet and by her windows).

I have written rhymes for many years and would sing silly songs with my daughter. The Monster Hat and Magic Monster Spray and silly rhymes grew into a book. I asked Cathy J. Clifton to help with the graphics and she designed them almost overnight (It’s a God thing). Thus the Monster Kit came to be.
